Serena (b. 2002) is an emerging contemporary artist living in Staghorn Flat, Australia. Her love of art has always come from the rural countryside and mountainous backyards to some of the most picturesque places in Australia. Serena is a self-taught artist with paints, pencils and creative mediums always in hand since a child. Her abstract and folk inspired art bustles with playfulness and colour, and is intuitively painted across surfaces adding pattern, life, and childlike freedom to everything it touches.

Having studied Interior Design and Visual Arts after graduating high school, Serena boldly decided to pursue her dream of being a fulltime artist. She has since completed commissions and sold original paintings across Australia.

Serena’s elaborately detailed artworks, with calculated compositions and colour palettes create the perfect statement painting for any space or art collection. 

Serena has always valued how a painting can connect with shared experiences between herself, and you the viewer. This inspires her to paint the way she witnesses the world: full of colours and patterns found in even the most inconspicuous of places.
